The 9 Best Big Bear Lake, California Hotels of

Best for Luxury: The Club at Big Bear Village

Big Bear Lake is short on five-star hotels, but for families or groups, the luxury condos of The Club at Big Bear Village offer a way to stay in style. Suites are available with two, three or four bedrooms, and the largest has space for 10 guests. Expect sleek modern decor with plenty of stone, wood, and leather, as well as designer appliances in the full kitchens. Bathrooms have oversized soaking tubs and the separate living room is made for lazy afternoons with a large flat-screen TV and fireplace.

All suites have a spacious dining room and you can grill out on your private balcony or porch when the weather’s fine. Use the washer/dryer to freshen up your base layers in between sessions on the slopes. The complex also has some impressive communal facilities, including a seasonal heated outdoor pool, a children’s pool, a billiards room, and a private fitness center. Above all, the condos receive near-perfect TripAdvisor reviews for their cleanliness, comfort, and brand-new feel.

      Very Good 15 reviews

Perfect for 2 people, or two couples who know each other VERY well. Not exactly the lap of luxury- one loft Queen and another tiny queen BR that I’m certain was an add on, and only one bathroom- but the kitchen was well appointed and had enough dishes and cookware for a banquet. I always travel with a knife sharpener so I managed to cook a couple of great dinners. Basic , no frills lodging, arranged to fit as many people as possible.

      Excellent reviews

This was our second time at the Snow Lake Lodge. We absolutely LOVED it the first time, wrote a 5-star review and recommended it to friends and neighbors who also booked there. The layout of the unit is great. That hasn't changed. The king-size bed in the bedroom is great and fairly comfortable. The location is good, and the kitchen can be well-equipped upon request.

It's a really great place for my friends and I spending time together, we feel we are really closed to each other when we play cards and make meals. Also, since there was a big snow storm while we were here, we spent one more night at this place, and the manager provided as the price same as what we booked in advance. It was so nice of him and our butler to help us.

Only had one issue, with air conditioner, they did the best they could and took care of the issue. They did it quickly and with no excuses. Great customer service.
